DOA

As part of an upcoming collaboration between Found Studio and contemporary floral artist Rebecca Louise Law, I was tasked with creating a series of fully CG hero shots of dying flowers. 

Creating something as organic as a flower, animating it from life to death, whilst maintaining photo-realism has been a huge challenge. Using a combination of hand modelling, 3D scanning, Arnold Render, Redshift, and Nuke, I created six macro sequences of flowers in the process of dying. 

The shots had to match the soft, natural look of the anamorphic plate photography (Arri Alexa and Panavision anamorphic macro lenses).
